Mentoring Insights Study
Thread is seeking to commission a national study on mentoring to understand how intergenerational learning can be guided by technology. In todays screenage where individuals spend more time interacting on screens than face-to-face and where an app for everything has become the mantra, it is critical to understand the positive role that technology can play in guiding personal growth. This study will inform the launch of the new Thread mentoring app and website.
The research is being commissioned by Thread and conducted by McCrindle, an independent research organisation. It will be supported by organisations who align with the vision behind Thread's new app and are able to show their interest through financial partnership.

Having held a number of key senior management positions with organisations including Reckitts Benckiser, McDonald’s Australia, Telstra, National Foods. Church & Dwight, and Mad Mex. Moving from client to agency side for 3 years as Marketing Director at GuihenJones Retail Agency. Most recently working for the McGrath Foundation conducting a strategic review to align the marketing function to business strategy. Vicki is a Senior Consultant at Opic with over 15 years’ experience in the assessment and development field, specialising in developmental coaching for enhanced performance. Vicki has personally conducted thousands of Coaching & Development sessions with key clients, in addition to utilising assessment measurements to assist companies in developing and selecting their people. Vicki has also focused her knowledge and expertise on product development, where she has successfully developed an assessment and development solution specifically tailored to call centre environments and 360 degree feedback questionnaires. Her most recent project is OPIC coach@work™ – a comprehensive manager as coach program based on identifying and developing individual capabilities and is designed to assist companies in building commitment and retention of key personnel. Vicki was also part of a team responsible for the development of the OPIC Development Series, a series of resource guides targeted specifically towards coaching for performance.
